Tan or neutral-colored heels will make your legs look longer. Plus, they are super-cute year-round.

Cinco de Mayo marks the famous Battle of Puebla, when the Mexican army defeated the French invaders. This year marks the 150th anniversary, so get into the celebration -- clothing and all.
No need to rent a costume for this shindig. Just open up your closet and work with what you have. Start simple by wearing the colors from the Mexican flag, which are a fun red, white and green.
Pull out your gauzy hippie peasant skirts, and accessorize with bright ethnic jewelry and huaraches (summer sandals). Braid your hair across the crown of your head, and rock a Frida Kahlo-like rebozo (rustic wrap). Details, such as a flower tucked behind the ear, make a big difference.
Get the guys into the act too! Put a beret on your man to represent the French army. Or, have him wear a fake holster and a ’stache like that of outlaw Pancho Villa.
Remember the idea is to be fun and not offensive, so use your judgment. Then let the fiesta begin.
