Tan or neutral-colored heels will make your legs look longer. Plus, they are super-cute year-round.

The battle of the bulge is especially difficult after a long winter of eating yummy guisados. But in order to look thinner, you first need proper undergarments, advises Felix C. Mercado, a celebrity style expert. “If you’re not wearing undies with good support, then the outfit is not going to look cute,” says Mercado. Spanx can be a chica’s best friend, since it helps smooth out problem areas.
And as for fashion, the latest rage this spring is color-blocked maxi dresses, which flatter all figures. Mercado suggests pairing the dress with a metallic sandal, or any other fun shoe. For a more tailored look, opt for a boot-cut pant. Wearing it with a sheer, printed flowing top and a bright, fitted camisole will have you looking fresh -- and flaquita! -- for springtime.
